Meet me in my Studio.
If you are looking for a special piece of jade, come and meet me in my studio on the road to Shantytown. I have personally carved all the jade works in my studio and each design has its own special story.
You'll be able to see me carving and handle some of the best jade rocks that my whanau and I have found over the years. I look forward to meeting you soon.

Real West Coast jade.
The importance of ponamu to the pre-European Maori can not be overstated. All our finest tools and ornaments were jade, and the only source in Aotearoa/New Zealand was from the West Coast and Fiordland area. The only jade I use in my work is authentic NZ Pounamu from these places.
A 700 year passion for jade.
My family connections with jade go back hundreds of years to the Maori tribe, Ngati Mahaki, who were the original traders of pounamu in New Zealand. As such I am privileged to be one of the few who have customary rights to fossick for jade.
All of my jewellery and sculptures are carved from jade that my whanau (family) and I have found in the West Coast/Fiordland rivers and mountains.
